Who We Are

Rural Aid Kenya Training Institute (RAKTI) is a middle level private college located in AthiRiver, Machakos County, which is fully accredited by the Commission of Higher Education and registered by the Directorate of Industrial Training, & the Ministry of Education Science and Technology.

The institution ranks as one of the best TVETs in Kenya offering a high quality and flexible learning environment. RAKTI is sponsored by Rural Aid Foundation – an NGO started in 1978 in the UK. It aims to empower the vulnerable such as youth, women, children and persons with disabilities, through scholarship education.

TVETA Status

Registered and licensed by TVETA.
(TVETA/PRIVATE/TVC/0235/2016).

KNEC Status

Registered as a KNEC examination centre.
(No. 401115).

MoEST Status

Registered to provide professional training.
(MOHE.S.T/PC/1009/2006).
